Specially hardened steel gives the REISSER R2 screw the recognized tensile and torsional strength.
The deep sharply rolled thread and the cylindrical shape prevent splitting and give greater retention.
Due to the strength a smaller gauge can be used than with twin thread screws.
The hardened head is manufactured with REISSER - RECESS to grip immediately without spinning,
it also means that the screw can be removed easily.
