M8 Vertical Rod Hanger - Concrete
All steel threaded fastening system for suspending steel threaded rod vertically overhead in pipe handing, fire protection, electrical conduit and cable-tray applications. This product can be installed in concrete ceilings, beams and columns. Steel threaded rods in M8 and M10 diameters can be vertically suspended.

Concrete vertical rod fasteners should be installed with the appropriate size standard drive sockets and adjustable torque, battery powered screw gun or hammer drill in “rotation only” mode.

Use R646-910 Vertigo Socket Drive Unit - M8/10 Concrete or alternatively a handy tool to drive this product in would be the W901-313 - 13mm 1 piece Drive Bar & Socket.

M8/M10 Spit Tapcon Concrete Rod Hanger 058785 - 35mm Anchor Length
This product designed for overhead threaded rod applications these Spit Tapcon Concrete Rod Hangers are ETA Option 1 approved for cracked and non-cracked concrete and are ideal for the installation of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC and fire protection systems being fire rated for up to 2 hours.

The hex head has a dual M8/M10 thread and this sits below the connector to provide a clean look the installation and because of the three part design the hexagon connector can be removed after installation to leave an embedded M8 stud in the substrate.

To install, drill a pilot hole using a 6mm diameter drill and the W901-313 - 13mm 1 piece Drive Bar & Socket to drive the fixing home.
