The VST1 Heavy Duty Formed Safety Ties are premium-grade masonry wall ties engineered for high-performance applications in a wide range of construction projects. As a Type 1 (Heavy Duty) wall tie, the VST1 range is suitable for most building types and heights throughout the UK, providing dependable lateral restraint and structural integrity where it matters most.

Designed with a formed profile and integrated multidrip feature, the VST1 ties help discourage moisture crossing the cavity, supporting long-term wall performance and weather resilience. Manufactured from grade 304 stainless steel, these ties offer excellent corrosion resistance and a service life of not less than 60 years – making them a reliable choice for new build and refurbishment work.

The VST1 range accommodates cavity widths from 50 mm up to 225 mm (with lengths 200 mm–350 mm), giving you flexible options to match site conditions. All variants are tested to BS EN 845-1 as Type 1 strength and Type B sound wall ties, and are non-combustible in accordance with national building regulations.
